The Johnson and Johnson Clinical Operation is seeking to recruit both Graduate and Undergraduate intern to support JJCO’s global clinical trial operations projects and initiatives. This is a full time program.
For Undergraduate
Key Roles:
- Participation and/or support of global projects and initiatives
- Project management including organization of program meetings, Agenda creation, critical milestone activity and action item tracking
- Dashboard reporting
- Critically assess clinical and other scientific data; analysis of facts and figures
- Support of technical processes and systems integration
- General support of business operations in the clinical space.
Qualifications for Johnson and Johnson Intern in Clinical Operation 2022
- Enrolled in or recently completed undergraduate degree in Engineering, Health Science, Medical Science, IT or related field.
- Coursework in 2 of the following fields – biology, chemistry, health sciences, statistics, epidemiology, health services, genetics, process improvements, quality. Additional coursework in Good Clinical Practice an asset.
- Advanced analytical skills. Must analyze and interpret complex data from multiple sources.
- Strong knowledge with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook Explorer and PowerPoint).
- Comfortable working with teams and in global environments.
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
- Self-starter who can also work in team environment.

For Graduates:
Roles:
- Project management including organization of program meetings, Agenda creation, critical milestone activity and action item tracking
- Participation and/or support of global projects and/or process improvement initiatives
- Perform literature searches, data extraction, and summarize output
- Critically assess clinical and other scientific data
- Design of reports: you will analyze facts and figures
- Scanning for changes in the global regulatory and clinical trial environment that may have implications for our research
Qualifications
You should meet the following requirements:
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
- Available for an 8-12 month internship starting January 2022
- Currently enrolled pursuing a Graduate degree in Epidemiology, Health Science or Science Master’s level degree program.
- Coursework in clinical epidemiology, health services research, healthcare technology, clinical research preferred. Experience / exposure to clinical research / GCP coursework is preferred.
- Experience completing scientific research, including literature searches and reviews.
- Scientific report writing.
- Advanced analytical skills. Must analyze and interpret complex data from multiple sources.
- Strong knowledge with MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook Explorer and PowerPoint)
