Scholarship Description
The International Ambassador Scholarship scheme is aimed at recognizing and providing financial assistance for exceptional students who desire to serve as ambassadors for UWL.
As an ambassador for UWL you’ll be an active representative of the institution. You will also be expected to partake in present and future promotional endeavors, and as such, you will be photographed and interviewed by the marketing unit. The awardee will also actively contribute from time to time in the promotion of the institution by assisting in events organized for students, as well as events organized by the International Office.
The awardee agrees that no payment will be made to them for their participation in promotional events. The awardee ascribes to the University any intellectual property or other related rights which are created as part of the promotional endeavor. The University holds the right to withdraw the scholarship award in the event that the awardee is not fulfilling the criteria that comes with the role.

Requirements
Applicants must be:
- A holder of offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate program at University of West London, to start study in September 2020. This means that you must have already applied for a course of study at this university and you must have already received an official offer from one of their admissions officers.
- A self-funded overseas full fee-paying student (please note: EU applicants are not eligible).
Conditions
These notes are projected to outline the requirements for applicants who have been offered a University of West London Scholarship award. Such awardee must be on a Tier 4 (General) student visa. The University at its sole discretion holds the reserved right to grant and administer the scholarship award as appropriate as they deem fit and criteria may be subject to change.
The University solely has it in its discretion in granting this scholarship award and holds the right not to grant a scholarship or to revoke a scholarship due to non-compliance with the terms and conditions of the scholarship award. Successful candidates will normally be notified by email no later than one month after the publicized closing date. Any other University bursary or discount cannot be used in combination with the scholarship award.
Selection Criteria: The International Ambassador Scholarship award will be granted on a competitive basis to applicants who show enthusiasm and the ability to be an outstanding international student ambassador.
