This scholarship is only open to students in Nigeria, Ghana, Cameroon, Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

This scholarship is worth £3000 for first year of study only.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate candidates must attain A level grades ABB or equivalent. Below are the equivalent qualifications for each country.

Nigeria: OND with a grade of distinction, A recognized foundation year scoring 70% or higher or the first year of a university degree with a grade point average of 3/4 or higher.

Ghana: A recognized foundation year at 70% or the first year of a university degree with a grade point average of 3/4 or higher.

Cameroon: Baccalaureat scoring a minimum of 14/20 or the first year of a university degree with a grade point average of 3/4 or higher.

Zimbabwe: A recognized foundation year at 70%.

Kenya: Ordinary diploma at 60% or University diploma at 60%.

Uganda: UACE with 3 subjects with nothing less than BBB.

Tanzania: ACSE/EAACE with 3 subjects with nothing less than BBB.

  • If you are a postgraduate candidate, you must have a minimum of a second class upper degree and fulfil the conditions of your offer by the admission’s deadline. For candidates from Cameroon, the equivalent is a bachelor’s degree with a minimum grade point average of 3.0 (anglophone and francophone systems).
