Requirements
For the Master’s Scholarship, Candidates must be:
Age of 30 years for male and 35 years for female applicant.
- Applicants may be asked to undergo a written or oral test after pre-selection.
For the PhD Scholarship, Candidates must be:
At most, 35 years old for male and 40 years for female candidates
- Applicants may be asked to undergo a written or oral test after pre-selection.
- Applicants for the Masters in Conference Interpreting and Translation degree programs are required to have outstanding knowledge of minimum of two (2) of the African Union’s official languages (English, French, Arabic and Portuguese).

Documents Required for Application
For the Master’s Scholarship, Candidates must satisfy the following conditions
- Undergraduate degree from a renowned university, with minimum of a second class upper division or an equivalent result, in a relevant discipline;
- Certified copies of applicable certificates, transcripts (from university as well as high school)
- Passport or National I.D. card (personal details page)
- Clear colored passport size photograph (2cmx2cm)
- Detail CV
- Recommendation letter from ONE of his/her former University lecturers
- Names of 3 Reference University lecturers (with email address and whatsapp number) (Mandatory)
For the PhD Scholarship, Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A Master’s degree in a relevant field from PAU or any internationally recognized university;
- Certified copies of relevant certificates, transcripts
- Passport or National I.D. card (personal details page);
- Clear colored passport size photograph (2cmx2cm);
- Detail CV;
- Recommendation letters from 2 Professors;
- A three (3) to four (4) page Research Concept Note (to include tentative title, research questions, objectives, significance of the research and so on);
- Names of 3 Reference University Teachers (with email address and whatsapp number); (Mandatory);
