Tuition
The candidates who have successfully called through the admission process and are registered at Skoltech do not pay for their studies. The expense is totally footed by the university; for students, education is free.
Requirements
- For Master’s programs: An appropriate bachelor’s or specialist degree or its equivalent, from an accredited university.
- All candidates must show proficiency in English, which is the language of instruction at Skoltech. A minimum score of 80 on the TOEFL iBT, 450 on the TOEFL ITP or 6 on the IELTS is required. No exceptions are made for this policy and only TOEFL and IELTS scores are accepted.
- Submission of a General GRE score isn’t required for the Skoltech application. However, a high score may prove advantageous to your application
- Applications are open to domestic and international students. Applicants must be in their final year of their undergraduate studies or hold a higher education degree (bachelor’s degree or specialist degree) in one of the following areas of study: applied science, technical science, mathematics, chemistry, physics, biology, or relevant areas.
- Additionally, you must have a record of success in your studies as well as a knowledge of English.

- The application includes your CV, two letters of recommendation, and a motivation letter.
- Submission of either IELTS or TOEFL test results is compulsory by “Selection Weekend.”
- Candidates who did not get an opportunity to take any of these official tests will be able to take the TOEFL ITP during “Selection Weekend” at Skoltech.
