The MasterCard Foundation Scholarship Program at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST) affords academically talented yet economically disadvantaged young students in Ghana and Africa with access to quality university education. The Scholarship Program grants an opportunity for its scholars to get holistic training that enhances them to be change leaders. The Scholarship Program entails an array of services including cultural transition, mentorship, etc. that will ensure the scholar’s academic excellence, community engagement and transition to employment opportunities which will advance the aid of economic and social transformation of Africa.

Duration of Scholarship: full period of study.
Requirements
For the 2020/2021 Academic Session, the opportunity is open to;
- All candidates with WASSCE or ABCE or GBCE or GCE O’Level and A’ Level or an equivalent Results from an accredited/recognized institution and Certificate Ready and meets Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST)’s Admission Requirements. NO AWAITING RESULTS applicant will be accepted. Applicant’s result must be at least a year old.
- The Applicant must demonstrate that he/she has Critical Economic Needs.
- The Applicant must have Proven Records of Leadership and Community Engagement(s).
- Priority shall be given to;
- Females
- Displaced Persons (Certified Refugees, Internally Displaced Persons, etc.)
- Persons with Disability
- The Applicant must be prepared to Go-Back and Give-Back to his or her Community.
